Welcome to Njaaga Child Hopes Home
At Njaaga Child Hope Center, we are one big Family. The Children, Staff, Volunteers, Friends and Supporters of the home, are all brought together by the plight of the Children. We have about 60 children and 15 staff members who help the children in their stay at the home.

Established in June 24 2004 as a result of the declining living standards in that area due to Poverty and Disease (AIDS) whose main victims were helpless innocent children who were left orphaned,

It was evident that if these children were not taken care of and given hope to face the future confidently they would probably end up going through the same cycle of poverty that would eventually lead them into criminal activities or diseases, leading to death, leaving the cycle in operation for a long time.

ACCORDING TO OUR RESEARCH ON THE INTERNET, WE HAVE NOTED THAT WE HAVE VOLUNTEERS/WELLWISHERS WHO HAVE BEEN RAISING FUNDS ON BEHALF OF THE ORPHANAGE. WE HAVE NOW PURCHASED LAND THROUGH THE EFFORT OF JAMES AND LUCY AND NICHOLAS KREIDER. WE ARE REQUESTING ALL THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN RAISING FUNDS IF ANY, ITS TIME WE NEED YOU MOST TO HELP RECONSTRUCT NJAAGA CHILD HOPE BY BUYING BUILDING MATERIALS. FOR MORE INFORMATION PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO CONTACT US.

The Founders
Mr and Mrs James and Lucy Njaaga, founded the Child Hope Center due to the many cases of innocent children being left with no one to fully take care of them after their parents died: "we always wanted to give them a stable foundation for the future and a place they can call home".

Recruitments of Orphans
The need for the recruitment of the orphans has increased even more. There are those amongst us that still take HIV/Aids and death as a taboo. They do not want to come forward and talk about it. To some extent, it is traumatizing especially where we have "closed the door"
